Expert witness inspections are usually performed at the very beginning stages of
potential litigation cases against contractors, builders or sellers. An Inspector Associate will
document what the condition of the property (area with problems) is and
coupled with the experience and knowledge of the building trades, prepare a
"court worthy" document which may include photographs, recommendations etc.
Price estimates for repairs are not typically part of these reports.
Important: Cosmetic (blemishes in drywall finish, paint finish, stains etc) issues are not
part of the report.
Inspections are an interactive process between inspector and client; it is
therefore recommended that you make every possible attempt to accompany
inspector through your inspection (except for on roof and in attics).
