The Bjornax Bump Tester produces a generous amount of CO where you need it and on demand. This reusable Bump Tester is very affordable and utilizes a proven technology. After lighting the CO emitting wick, in less than 5 seconds the Bump Tester can provide from approximately 35 to 1000ppm of filtered Carbon Monoxide CO gas. The Bump tester is easy to use and can be shipped without any Hazmat Department of Transportation DOT issues.

Supplied with:

  • CO adapter unit with filter
  • Smoke Pen
  • 6 wicks

Instructions:

  1. Make sure that the particle filter cup is mounted into the end of the adapter
NOTE: do not push finger directly against paper filter surface, this may tear the filter that protects the CO detector sensor.
  2. Remove the soft black cap from the end of the pen
  3. Place a CO producing wick in the pen by pressing the button on the end of the pen to open the jaws
  4. Insert wick and adjust to allow approximately 3/8 of exposed wick
  5. Light the tip of the wick and allow it to burn for 10 to 15 seconds, blow out the flame
  6. Insert ignited Smoke-Pen in rubber holder on CO-Adapter as image 3 below, press firmly into place as shown.
  7. As long as you have a trail of smoke coming out of evacuation hole on top of CO-Adapter shown in image 4 the unit produces CO gas at 35 to 525 ppm (the range is linearly measured over a 1 to 15 second test)
  8. Extinguish the CO-Wick by simply removing the Pen from the rubber holder and replacing the soft plastic cap over the wick end of the pen

To re-use, simply adjust the length of the wick and follow the steps as described above
