Model 91027 Professional Continuous Radon Monitor is classified as a Continuous Radon Monitor (CRM) testing device, and has been evaluated and accepted by the US EPA for use in real estate transaction testing. |
The Model 91027 provides both a digital display of the measured value as well as a report that may be obtained from either a printer or a computer. PC software, suitable for printing reports, is included with the instrument. A compact printer (P/N 020030) that plugs into the 91027 Monitor is available if an on-site report is required. (Data is stored in the Radon Monitor and can be printed at a later time.)
The Model 91027 is operated using line power. The instrument contains a 9
volt battery which provides backup power in the event of a power outage
during a test. The Professional Continuous Radon Monitor employs internal
sensors to detect and report movement during a test. The testing is not
interrupted if tampering is detected, but the tampering is noted on the
final report. The Model 91027 does not contain any replaceable or
“consumable” parts. The instrument is completely reusable; simply clear the
memory and it is ready for a new test.
The Model 91027 includes the serial cable and PC software.
Note: Using the radon software with newer laptops will possibly require a USB to Serial adapter cable.
On-site reports are easily printed with the optional printer. Below is an example of the report that can be generated either on-site or at a later time.
