4 point resistance Checkbox for all Protimeter pin moisture meters.

Use the GE Protimeter ‘Timber’ Check Box to check the calibration of GE Protimeter moisture meters designed for wood and building surveying.

1. Set the Check Box knob to the “0” position.
2. Place the moisture meter electrode needles across the Check Box electrodes.
3. Compare moisture meter reading with the Check Box value.
4. Repeat steps 1 to 3 with Check Box at settings of ‘13.2’, ‘18.2’ and ‘26.9’.
5. Meters that register within ±1 of the Check Box reference value should be considered within the calibration tolerance.

The Check Box should be re-certified by GE Protimeter plc at regular intervals, in accordance with the users’ quality control procedures.
