How to Request a Quote
Need pricing on a larger order, a purchase order for your company, or a configuration that isn't on the site? Send us a request for quotation and we'll price it for you. There's no obligation, and nothing is charged unless you accept.
The quickest way — quote your cart
- Add the items you need to your shopping cart, with the quantities you want quoted.
- Go to your cart and click Request a Quote, just below the Checkout button.
- Your cart contents are carried over automatically — you won't have to type a parts list.
- Fill in your contact details and submit.
You can also start a request directly from our quote request form at any time.
Buying for a business?
Tick “This is a business purchase” on the form and a few extra fields appear. Filling them in helps us quote faster and get your paperwork right the first time:
- Company name — as it should appear on the quote and invoice
- PO or reference number — we'll print it on your quote, invoice and packing slip
- Type of business — home inspector, industrial hygienist, contractor, school, municipality, and so on
- Tax exemption — tell us if you're exempt and we'll send you what we need
Tell us what matters
The notes box is the most useful part of the form. Things worth mentioning:
- The quantity you're really after, if it differs from your cart
- A date you need it by
- Whether you need calibration certificates or documentation
- A budget or a competing quote you're working against
- Anything you're unsure about — we'd rather talk it through than quote the wrong thing
What happens next
- We price it. Most quotes go out the same business day.
- You get an email with a link to your quote. No login needed — the link is yours.
- Open the link to see every line, your totals, and how long the quote is good for.
- Accept or Decline right on that page.
If you accept, we create your order and email you an invoice you can pay by card. Nothing is charged when you accept — you pay the invoice when you're ready.
If you'd rather pay by check, on account, or against a PO, just say so in your request and we'll set it up.
Good to know
- Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date we prepare them. The expiry date is printed on your quote.
- A quote does not reserve stock. Inventory is only held once an order is placed. If an item is tight on availability and you need it held, tell us — or accept the quote to lock it in.
- Sale prices aren't guaranteed. Items on special are marked with an asterisk on your quote. Those prices can change before the quote is accepted.
- Shipping is estimated on the quote and confirmed when your order ships.
- Sales tax is calculated for your delivery state, including tax on freight where the state requires it.
Didn't hear back?
Check your spam folder first — quote emails sometimes land there. If it's still missing, call or email us and we'll resend it. We'll also send you a reminder if a quote is getting close to expiring.
