Audible Dampness Detector (MT211) with Protective Cap

The sensitive probes trigger the audible alarm. Audible alert goes from a steady tick (moderate dampness) to a high pitch continuous tone (indicates high level of moisture). The higher the moisture level of the item being tested, the louder audible indicator becomes.
When the ON button is depressed a single click will be heard and the led light will come on
This meter does not give a visual indication. It is useful for users that are vision impaired.

Testing for dampness: Place the probes on the surface to be tested and depress the 'ON' button. If there is moisture present an audio sound will be heard. The tone will vary dependant on the level of moisture present.

Slow Clicking indicates a low level of moisture. It is advisable to check a wider area to ensure moisture levels do not increase and also help detect he source of the problem.
Higher Pitched Continuous Tone indicates high levels of moisture.
