TestiFire TF1000 Electronic Smoke & Heat Detector Test Head ONLY
The information below is retained for reference only. This item is discontinued and cannot be ordered.
TestiFire 1000 Electronic Smoke & Heat Detector Tester (TF1000) Replacement
Test Head
This is the test head only. In order to operate a smoke cartridge TS3 and a
battery is required.
Link to the
TF1001-kit,
which includes everything needed to test
approximately 500 smoke detectors, as well as an extra battery and charger.
The TestiFire is capable of producing smoke and heat stimuli for testing
and can be conducted independently, sequentially or simultaneously. UL
certified, TestiFire is approved by leading detector manufacturers from around
the world.
Head Unit only
Uses Testifire Smoke Capsules
Fully programmable to carry out single, simultaneous or combined test
cycles
Testifire's use of advanced technologies means that it is able to
test an increasingly wide range of detectors. Latest technology stimuli
production and delivery renders the product suitable for testing
everything from latest technology, complex algorithm, multi sensors to
aspirating systems (as well as the more 'traditional' detectors in
between).
Optical point (photoelectric) smoke sensors Single, laser,
dual wavelength or dual scatter types.
Ionization smoke sensors
Aspirating detectors The unique method of smoke generation
used by TestiFire provides a smoke profile which is suitable for
testing aspirating detection systems. Use of the TestiFire Remote
Control also allows use with 'holes' along an aspirating pipe run.
Virtual chamber detectors Some types of detector - such as
those with 'virtual chambers' do not have the physical 'presence' to
automatically initiate a test since they do not interrupt the
infrared beam within TestiFire. The TestiFire 25 Remote Control
overcomes this challenge by enabling remote manual initiation and
end of a test sequence (at a distance of up to nine meters).
Thermal sensors Fixed temperature and rate of rise. TestiFire
features two heat settings. The standard setting allows testing of
rate-of-rise and fixed temperature heat settings up to 90°C (194°F).
The High Heat setting allows testing of detectors set at higher
temperature up to 100°C (212°F).
Multi-sensor or multi-criteria detectors Multi-sensor
detectors may respond to a functional test from a single phenomenon,
e.g. smoke, heat. However, a single phenomenon test is not
necessarily an adequate test in the field for this type of detector.
Each of the detection principles present within the detector (e.g.:
smoke / heat / CO) needs to be individually tested for the specific
detection principle. TestiFire allows the production of different
stimuli (e.g. smoke, heat) to be achieved singularly, sequentially
or simultaneously in any combination.
Conventional, addressable or analogue addressable detectors of any of
the above detector types can all be tested using TestiFire.
