3M™ Molecular Detection Assay Salmonella is used with the 3M™ Molecular Detection System for the rapid and specific detection of Salmonella in enriched food, feed and food process environmental samples.

As with all test methods, the source of enrichment medium can influence the results. The 3M Molecular Detection Assay Salmonella has only been evaluated for use with the enrichment medium, 3M™ Buffered Peptone Water (ISO) (BPW ISO).

Kit contains 96 tests and is used with 3M™ Molecular Detection System for the rapid and specific detection of Salmonella in enriched food, feed, and food processing environmental samples. Includes pre-dispensed lysis solution tubes, color coded regent tubes, extra regent tube caps, 1 negative control vial and 8 reagent control tubes. (1/each). Detection within 18-30 hours.
