Cosmetic Damage Policy

Certain items offered by Inspect USA carry cosmetic damage and are sold at a reduced price. These items are clearly identified as cosmetically damaged on the product page.

What Cosmetic Damage Means

Cosmetic damage affects appearance only. This includes scratches, scuffs, dents, chips, discoloration, faded or worn labeling, blemished displays, and damaged, opened, or substituted retail packaging. Cosmetic condition is described and photographed on the individual product page.

Function

Cosmetically damaged items are functional and are sold for normal use. Unless the product page states otherwise, these items are complete and include the standard accessories supplied by the manufacturer.

Calibration

Where an instrument requires calibration, its calibration status is stated on the product page. Cosmetic discount does not imply current calibration. Buyers are responsible for verifying that an instrument meets the calibration requirements of any authority having jurisdiction before using it for inspection, compliance, or reportable testing.

Returns

Cosmetic condition is not grounds for return, exchange, or refund. By purchasing, you accept the appearance of the item as described and photographed.
