Skywatch BL 1000 is a portable weather station for Android smartphones. It accurately measures wind speed and direction, temperature, relative humidity and atmospheric pressure. Besides, it calculates different derived parameters, including windchill, dew point and heat index, and automatically records the GPS coordinates of the measurements. The data is monitored in real time through the Skywatch Guard free mobile app specific to Skywatch BL 1000 and it is possible to store them and send them to the cloud.

The device stands out for its original and elegant design, made of anodized aluminium and polycarbonate to ensure high strength. It is supplied in a briefcase that allows storage and comfortable transportation.

Swiss high precision technology

Skywatch BL 1000 features state-of-the-art Swiss sensors to ensure the most accurate measurements. Its omnidirectional turbine has sapphire bearings, stainless steel shaft and magnetic transmission system, making the device sensitive to the lightest breezes and resistant to winds of up to 150 Km/h. It does not require batteries as it is powered by an internal battery that recharges via USB. The device displays the status of the Bluetooth connection and the battery charge, which ensures a life longer than a week before having to be recharged.

The device has been designed for professionals that require making accurate measurements in the field to document the current weather conditions, and is widely used by fire brigades, police forces, safety operators and construction companies. The app allows configuring 2 alarm thresholds for wind speed (warning and danger).
