The Moisture and Temperature Probe (the largest shown in the photo) is available for use with the Protimeter GrainMaster GRN3000i moisture meter. Used for monitoring the temperature and moisture level in stored grain. An important tool to maintain and control the proper environmental conditions. The probe is 58" (1.5 meter) in length by 1.1" (28mm) in diameter with spiral wound electrode sensors at the bottom 9". It has a 39" lead that connects to the Grainmaster and a speared tip for easy insertion into compacted grains. The grain probe is pre-calibrated in conjunction with the Grainmaster for Wheat, Barley, Oats, Oilseed Rape, Canola, Linseed, Peas, Corn, Sunflower, Coffee, Soya, Rice, Sorghum, Paddy and Beans.

The probe is used to measure the condition of stored grain quickly; it is not a substitute for moisture measurements taken from ground samples, which will be more reliable.
