This commercial-grade exit sign features a durable thermoplastic housing, bright red LED lettering, and a built-in emergency battery backup system. • Meets United States safety standards: Constructed of injection-molded thermoplastic with UL-94V-0 flame-retardant rating. High-visibility red EXIT lettering is readable from up to one hundred feet.

Installation Instructions

1. Open the housing: Insert the blade of a screwdriver (or similar tool) into the front cover slot and carefully pry the cover open.
2. Select mounting holes: Determine which mounting holes will align with the junction box. Punch out the appropriate knockouts from the knockout pattern located on the rear housing panel.
3. Wall-mount keyholes: Two additional keyhole slots are located on the top of the unit. These must be used when the fixture is being mounted directly to a wall.
4. Connect the AC supply wires: Black wire = 120 volt supply. Red wire = 277 volt supply. White wire = neutral.
5. Connect the battery: Attach the red lead from the circuit board to the positive battery terminal, and the black lead to the negative terminal.
