Ultra-Low Arsenic Water Test Kit 0-1.0 ppm (481298) 300 Tests 12 Minute Result

Arsenic Econo-Quick™ for water quality testing is ideal for field and lab technicians whose time is valuable and who do a large volume of tests. With accurate results in only 12 minutes, Arsenic Econo-Quick™ uses one simple procedure with 3 reagents that minimizes exposure to chemicals and maximizes the use of your time. With results comparable to high-end ICP testing methods, at a fraction of the cost, Arsenic Econo-Quick™ only requires a 50mL sample size to run. Everything you need to achieve results is included in this water quality test kit. In addition, Arsenic Econo-Quick uses no dangerous chemicals, like Sulfamic or Hydrochloric Acid, and features a unique chamber design which reduces your exposure to the generated arsine gas. With the included Easy-Read color chart, matching is simple and reliable water quality testing results can be achieved by non-technical personnel.

Our easy to follow test procedure requires only three reagents and as little as 12 minutes to perform. Reagents are clearly labeled and color coded to make arsenic testing error free. A colorimetric test strip is used to take the guesswork out of accurate arsenic measurement. The matching color chart is thoughtfully printed with extra large color blocks and contrasting colors for quick and accurate determinations.

  • The standard Arsenic Quick™ test kit detects 5 ppb (μg/L) of arsenic in 12 minutes
  • For added sensitivity, use the Low Range Arsenic Quick kit to detect arsenic concentrations of 2 ppb (μg/L) in 12 to 14 minutes
  • The Arsenic Econo-Quick™ kit is our latest addition with 300 tests per kit at a low price and a detection level of 10 ppb (μg/L) with a quick 12 minute test time.
  • For single use, retail sale, and evaluation, a 2-test Arsenic Quick™ kit is also offered.

Industrial Test Systems, Inc. features the Arsenic Econo-Quick™ test kit that provides accurate results at an affordable prices Designed using cutting edge chemistry, our easy-to-use test kits report results for Inorganic Arsenic (III&V) from 0.3ppb in 12 minutes without the need for technical training. Performance and accuracy of these kits have been verified by the USEPA through the ETV program (www.epa.gov/etv). We invite you to see why the Quick™ line of Arsenic test kits from ITS are recognized throughout the world as the premium Arsenic field test kits.

Here's how it works:

First, your water sample is mixed in the supplied reaction vessel with reagent #1 (Tartaric acid with rate enhancers). This will acidify your water sample. Reagent #2, an oxidizer, is then added to remove hydrogen sulfide interference. Finally, with the addition of Zinc powder, reagent #3, inorganic arsenic compounds (As+3 and As+5) are reduced to arsine gas. A test strip is used to measure the arsine gas concentration in the water sample.

As arsine gas is generated and comes in contact with the test strip, the Mercuric bromide indicator on the test strip changes in color from white to shades of yellow or brown. Once the reaction is completed, the test strip is removed and matched to a calibrated color chart to obtain a quantitative measure of arsenic in the tested sample.

The included test procedure is designed to detect inorganic arsenic As+3 and As+5. Test procedures are also available for arsenic in soil.
