The test can help distinguish between chelated iron and non-chelated iron. Instructions:
Testing for Non-chelated Iron - Take a sample of the water to be tested with the pipette and fill it to the 5 ml. line. Add 3 drops of Reagent 1 to the test tube. Insert cap and shake well to mix. Make sure to avoid skin contact. Place test tube in lab base and wait one minute. Match the test color to the closest color on the chart. Testing for Chelated Iron - Take a sample of the water to be tested and fill the test tube to the 5 ml. line. Add 3 drops of Reagent 1, inset cap and shake well to mix. Open cap and add one level spoonful of Reagent 2 to the test tube. Insert cap and shake well. Place test tube in lab base and wait 30 minutes. Match the test color to the closest color on the chart.
