Lutron YK-35UV Ultraviolet Light Meter, UVA and UVB, 260 to 390 nm, with Remote Probe

The Lutron YK-35UV measures ultraviolet irradiance across a 260 to 390 nm band, covering UVA and the upper part of UVB, in milliwatts per square centimeter. Two ranges cover up to 1.999 mW/cm² at 0.001 resolution and up to 19.99 mW/cm² at 0.01 resolution, which spans everything from a modest inspection lamp to a production curing head.
The sensor is on a separate corded probe with a cosine correction filter, so it can be laid on a cure bed, clamped at a work plane or reached into an exposure unit while the display is read from where it is safe and convenient to stand. A threaded tripod mount and fold-out easel stand on the meter body let it be set up for an unattended measurement rather than held.
Maximum and minimum readings are recorded with recall, a single button freezes the display, and an RS-232/USB port allows output to a computer. A DC 9V adapter socket means it can run continuously without eating batteries.
Ultraviolet light injures eyes and skin, and the damage gives no warning while it is happening. Never look at an energized UV lamp. Wear UV rated eye protection, cover exposed skin, and use the separate probe so the sensor is in the beam and you are not.
NOTE: This meter's band begins at 260 nm. Germicidal lamps used for disinfection emit at 254 nm, below this range, so the YK-35UV is not suitable for verifying germicidal UVC output. For 254 nm work use a UVC meter, or the YK-37UVSD, which covers both bands.

Sensor Storage
The ultraviolet sensor must be stored dry. Seal the probe in a plastic bag with a desiccant pack whenever the meter is not in use, and take it out only to measure. Moisture reduces the sensor's gain over time, which shortens the calibration interval and eventually costs accuracy. Replace the desiccant periodically.
