The RP140c is Energy Star Qualified and has been designed specifically for radon mitigation. RadonAway's RP140 fan has been engineered to provide superior performance and is ultra-quiet, as well as energy efficient. The RP series radon fans are ideal for most active soil depressurization (ASD) radon mitigation systems. Drop-in replacement for:
Fantech R100, F100, FR100; RadonAway XP101; Kanalflakt K4; and Rosenberg R100

"C" (contractor) Series Comparisons

Note: When installed in direct and/ or indirect sunlight, it has been reported that the fire retardant in the plastics can react to UV light, causing the fan housing to yellow in time. This does not effect the quality or operation of the fan. Some of the ways other contractors have addressed this is by spraying the housing with a clear UV spray like Krylon UV Resistant Clear or by installing a fan housing.
