The Lutron BPH-231 is a professional bench-type meter that measures both pH and ORP (millivolts) in a single instrument. It accepts any pH electrode with a BNC connector, supports three-point auto calibration at pH 7, pH 4 and pH 10, and offers manual or automatic temperature compensation. A built-in real-time clock and 16,000-point data logger record readings with a full date and time stamp, and the stored data can be downloaded to a computer through the RS-232 or USB interface. Typical applications include water conditioning, aquariums, fish hatcheries, beverage and food processing, photography, laboratory work, the paper and plating industries, quality control, and school and college instruction.

The pH electrode, ORP electrode, buffer solutions, and temperature probe are sold separately. This meter does not include an electrode.

• Auto power off after 10 minutes, or defeat it for continuous operation.
• Internal clock keeps running when the meter is powered off.
• Powered by eight AA batteries or an optional 9V DC adapter.
• System reset switch recovers the meter from a garbled CPU condition.
